Easy Neck Exercises for Mobility and Relief
1. Upper Trapezius Stretch
- Grab the side of a chair with one hand.
- Gently tilt your head to the other side while keeping your shoulders relaxed.
- Hold for 30 seconds
- Repeat 2 to 3 times on each side.
2. Sub-Occipital Nod Stretch
- Perform small chin nods to stretch the base of the skull.
- Hold for 30 seconds.
- Repeat 2 to 3 times.
3. Seated Neck Motion
- Slowly move your head up and down.
- Then side to side.
- Perform 5 to 10 repetitions each direction.
4. Chin Tucks
- Pull your chin straight back gently and hold briefly.
- Repeat 5 to 10 times.
- Perform 1 to 2 sets.
